HISTORY

Porsche Club Mexico in the 60's

At the beginning of the 60's there was a great variety of sports cars in Mexico, imported in the previous decades, of these brands PORSCHE stood out for its outstanding participation in events such as "La Carrera Panamericana", "The 24 hours of "Le Mans", " The Mille Miglia", "The Monte Carlo Rally", etc.

Porsche Club Mexico in the 70's

At the beginning of the 70's the seed was sown with a group of 6 enthusiasts, of what would later be the Porsche Club, the group of Porsche fans increased substantially and they met periodically for breakfast on Saturdays in a restaurant with good parking lot to be able to take and show off the cars, as well as update the "PORSCHE" world. And it was at one of those breakfasts that it was decided to call the group "CLUB PORSCHE" informally.

On November 24, 1988, the "CLUB PORSCHE MEXICO AC" was formally established.

For the decade of the 2000's, the activities of the Club have been diversified, according to the different preferences of its members, from the participation in static and elegance contests, as well as our beloved and inevitable breakfasts, large lunches and gala dinners. , going through rides and car parades, preliminary races both in the Grand Prix of Formula 1 and Prototypes, Slaloms, Fast Touring, and Autodromo rentals, to successful participations of the partners always occupying the first places in Vintage Races, National Rallies and international (London, Mexico and Panama - Alaska) and the Carrera Panamericana.

Club Porsche currently has more than 140 members and with the opening of the brand's new agencies in Mexico, we hope that this number will increase without losing the original concept of the Porsche Club, which is based on the friendship of the members, the integration of their families and of course the pleasure of enjoying its German jewels.
